Synopsis:
For trained assassin Dylan Romero, business is good. As the agency’s top warriors, he and partner Jake Walker are the last two people evil wants to see on the other side of a gun.

When a mission takes them to the college town of Bozeman, Montana, they discover that there is more than just another mark in another town to keep them there. With a heavy concentration of vessels doing their demon masters’ dirty work and flesh-craving monsters lurking around every corner, the secluded Midwest town is set to become the first battleground of the apocalypse.

The last thing Dylan needs is a distraction. With the fate of the world at stake, the life of one girl shouldn’t matter – until the day she changes everything.

About the Author:

I write relationships. Whether contemporary or fantasy, they are always real and never easy.

When I’m not writing, you can usually find me with my nose in my Kindle – reading romance of course – or running around after my three little boys, or catching up on an episode of Supernatural or This Is Us.

Author Interview:

How is this series different from your last?

For starters, the Apocalypse Assassins series is new adult in nature, so it’s a bit grittier than my young adult series. The romance is also more central to the plot. Everything that happens revolves around the relationship between the two primary characters. That being said, there is plenty of action, danger, excitement, and the usual twists and turns I love to throw in.

Is this a zombie apocalypse series?

Yes…and no. Are there zombies in it? Sort of, but they’re secondary to the much bigger issue the characters will face.

How hot is the romance?

The romance is the main reason I decided to make this series new adult. It starts as a slow burn, but it may light your kindle on fire by the end. Or so I’ve been told.

What makes it different from other books in the apocalypse genre?

This series is unique in that it has a little bit of everything. I consider it a genre mash-up. There’s large paranormal elements mixed with a tiny bit of sci-fi and thrown into an urban fantasy setting. It’s not as clear cut as aliens (sorry no aliens in this series), or zombies, or a global disease. It’s got many layers that will be peeled back over the course of the series.

How many books will be in this series?

The story arc of these characters will be complete at three books. Release dates are planned for March, June, and September of 2017. After that, I may do a spinoff with a new cast of characters in the same post-apocalyptic setting. Or focus on a particular secondary character that early readers have already taken to.

Excerpt:

You would think that four seasoned warriors, chosen at birth and moulded for one purpose since the age of twelve, would know how to control themselves by now. You would think that we had our shit together. Unfortunately, you would be wrong.

The future of the world rested in the hands of a bunch of twenty-somethings with ripped bodies, egos the size of dinosaur-killing asteroids, and a limitless supply of lethal weapons. We were a force to be reckoned with. Let loose in the wild, we plowed our own path of destruction. The irony was not lost on me.
