Friday Finds #8

Hi there bookworms!

Today’s post is going to be another Friday Finds which is a weekly feature hosted by A Daily Rhythm. In this feature, we get to discuss a book that we have newly discovered! So let’s get into it 🙂

My Friday Finds for this week is called Fractured by Catherine Mckenzie. This book I came across when I was reading The Murder Game by Julie Apple, as this book is the book that is talked about in Fractured and Julie Apple is the character (its all a bit confusing!) When I loved the Murder Game I thought that I might read this one just to see what it is like. I now have it on my kindle, thanks to Netgalley!

fractured.jpgJulie Prentice and her family move across the country to the idyllic Mount Adams district of Cincinnati, hoping to evade the stalker who’s been terrorising them ever since the publication of her bestselling novel, The Murder Game. Since Julie doesn’t know anyone in her new town, when she meets her neighbour John Dunbar, their instant connection brings measured hope for a new beginning. But she never imagines that a simple, benign conversation with him could set her life spinning so far off course.

After a series of misunderstandings, Julie and her family become the target of increasingly unsettling harassment. Has Julie’s stalker found her, or are her neighbours out to get her, too? As tension in the neighbourhood rises, new friends turn into enemies, and the results are deadly (Goodreads)
