This was a great read. Although predictable, I still loved every minute of it. The Perfect Hope was the third and final book in the Inn BoonsBoro trilogy, and, as Roberts’ trilogies do, it followed the pattern. In the first book one of the brothers gets with one of the friends, in the second another brother gets with the other friend, and in final book, the two left over are the ones to get together – its a pattern.
It had characters that you could relate to, they all had back stories that involved loss and heartbreak, they were real people. You couldn’t help but be over-the-moon happy when they found love with one another.
Not only was there love between the main characters, there was a ghost, named Lizzie, who lived in the Inn and she became a part of the family as the books went on. She was at the Inn waiting for her true love, Billy, to find her. Through the three books, the characters put in a search for Billy, so that he could come back to her. In this book, they found who Billy was, where he was from, where and how he died, and finally where he was buried. This evidently, lead him to the Inn where he could find his Lizzie.
The Perfect Hope was sweet, romantic and funny. Roberts never disappoints. When I need a good romance, she is who I turn to, she makes you believe in the ‘happily ever after’ which all girls want!
Thank you for stopping by, and happy reading 🙂
